Students from Ovada in Boca Raton, USA: A Journey Through Culture, History, and Emigration

In 2022, the third-year students of I.I.S. Barletti participated in the Frisali project "History and Memories" in the USA. During their stay in Boca Raton, they had the opportunity to explore the city and take part in various cultural activities. Meetings with people of Italian descent facilitated the exchange of experiences related to emigration, strengthening the cultural ties between Italy and the United States. The trip concluded with significant moments of sharing and reflection, leaving participants with a deeper awareness of migratory stories and a renewed sense of belonging to their common roots.

• The participating students were Matteo Pisano, Amanda Capriati, Riccardo Passero, Ilaria Cavanna, and Petra Bennardo, accompanied by professors Marta Calcagno, Enrica Secondino, and Raffaella Perfumo.
