Students from Macomer in New York, USA: A Journey Through Culture, History, and Emigration.

In July 2022, five students from I.I.S. Sebastiano Satta participated in the Frisali project "History and Memories" in the United States. During their stay in Washington, they had the opportunity to explore the American capital and take part in numerous cultural activities. Meetings with individuals of Italian descent fostered the exchange of experiences related to emigration, thereby strengthening the cultural ties between Italy and the United States. The journey concluded with significant meetings and farewells that left a profound impact on the participants.

• The participants were students Jacopo Zucca, Alberto Tondo, Marta Muroni, Asia Pireddu, and Anastasia Urtis, accompanied by professors Chiara Deriu, Maria Giovanna Carta, and Fabiola Bottigliero.
